Holiday Presents From Malware Authors (and Wannabes)

There are a few overlapping stories going around right now about holiday-themed malware making the rounds (as they do for any large event that can attract peoples' interest). Mostly they all seem to be pointing back to posts on the F-Secure blog. The particular relevance to us is the powerpoint doc which seems to be exploiting MS06-012 vulnerabilities. Kinda old don't you think? (published March 14th) You'd think they would use something a little more fresh, but laziness is the hallmark of most attackers (not like us defenders, we're busy bees working on getting the 1.0 release of the HoneyClient out :)).
