0.9.8 Released
Version 0.9.8 of the HoneyClient code has been released. New packages have been posted to the download page. You can also checkout the source code.
Major changes include:
- Added experimental database support, for identifying and logging detected malware.
- Added support for parsing (basic) URLs embedded within Flash files. This is the first step towards handling a large variety of ActiveContent.
- Fixed support for instrumenting Mozilla Firefox browsers.
We've also published our codebase documentation via CPAN; however, please do not use CPAN's version of our packages, as those do not contain the code needed to handle Flash-based pages. We will be updating the CPAN archive next week, in order to fix this. In the meantime, please download the packages from our download page.
